WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Asa Productions presents their newest play I HEAR (OIGO) which is a dramatization of the struggle for Argentine human rights during their "Dirty War". The story follows Isabella, a hearing impaired songwriter in 1970s Argentina. Isabella is shot for writing a song about freedom, and her soul is transported into five different characters; A Catholic teacher, a Jewish journalist, and Mothers & Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo. Through these people, the audience learns the true value of hope even in the deepest of despair.

The performances are done in American Sign Language & English, with songs in Spanish.
