Synopsis
Flash! Sparks and saucers fly when an emotional alien girl from an unemotional planet comes to Earth to find romance, and crashes her flying saucer at Roswell on July 3, 1949. There she meets a down-on-his luck reporter who needs a big story to get back in the game. But he thinks the new waitress in town, "Aileen," is just a nice, "down-to-Earth" girl. When he finds out who she really is, will he choose the love of his life or the story of the century? When the whole town becomes a paranoid mob bent on destroying the "invader from space," our plucky, loving alien girl overcomes their fear and prejudice with big hugs and, of course, singing and dancing! This exciting new musical comedy has everything that you love about the great classic musical shows: Heart warming characters, side splitting humor, real romance, memorable songs, and toe tapping dancing. It's a show for all ages that you will remember for years to come. It was the popular favorite of the Kansas City Festival of New Musicals and Thousand Oaks Festival of New Musicals 2007. See it now before it goes to Broadway!
