WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

How Brief Eternity Choreography: John J Zullo Original Music: Mio Morales Costume Design: Hector Perez Lighting and Set Decor: Lily Meyer AND The Matthew Shepard Dance Written and Choreographed by Michael Freeman Costumes by Michael Freeman Matthew: Douglas Allen George: Michael Freeman Video by Peyton Harrison Music compilation: The Rolling Stones, Sloppy Seconds, Electric Six, Grace Jones How Brief Eternity, an exploration of enduring hatreds that can prosper in a flawed society and a meditation on the survival of hatred drawn from genocide of gay men in middle east. The work's conception and creation was inspired by the article "The Hunted" by Matt McAllester in New York Magazine about the genocide of gay men in Iraq as well as the Human Rights Watch report "They Want Us Exterminated: Murder, Torture, Sexual Orientation and Gender in Iraq." The Matthew Shepard Dance Two other-worldly faggots; one famous, the other a hilarious no-body, will appear for your pleasure to put on a dance show from the beyond. Even though they are not bitter over their own unexpected deaths they definitely have their sarcastic and poignant moments. Champagne will be served.
