In Harry The Hunk On His Way Out, former WQXR Radio president Warren G. Bodow tells a story of love, loyalty and lost opportunity in late 20th century America. Set in once thriving Youngstown, Ohio, on the night before Harry retires as factory foreman, three drinking buddies, an edgy blonde interloper, and a surprise last minute guest help him come to terms with having scuttled his special unique talent and settling instead for a calm, predictable life in an era when risk, backed with talent and drive, often paid off for those willing to step up.
