Playwrights Horizons presents the world premiere of Grey Gardens, a new musical with book by Doug Wright, music by Scott Frankel, and lyrics by Michael Korie. Featuring Christine Ebersole and Mary Louise Wilson, the production is directed by Michael Greif, and features musical staging by Jeff Calhoun. Grey Gardens is based on the film of the same name.

Facing an uncertain future, Edith Bouvier Beale and her adult daughter, "Little" Edie, are forced to revisit their storied past and come to terms with it -- for better, and for worse.
