For Lovers Only (Love Songs Nothing But Love Songs) is a fully staged and choreographed, musical revue of approximately 100 well known love songs woven into a fast moving entertainment. Performed by 5 marvelous singers, with a small band, For Lovers Only (Love Songs Nothing But Love Songs) will have you laughing, crying and cheering (as the audience at the workshop of this new musical did) for the sheer talent of the performers and the breathtaking joy, in music, of familiar love songs.

I saw this enchanting show twice during its short trial run back in January. What a fabulous revue! Its so much fun too hear all those songs that we know so well, AND to discover new ones. Theres no way you can leave without humming something. The talent on stage is truly amazing. Run...dont walk...to get tickets. You will truly have "Some Enchanted Evening."

For Lovers Only (Love Songs Nothing But Love Songs), the new cabaret-style musical revue at New World Stages, might best be characterized as the longest medley ever to hit the stage, as five talented performers cover parts of 85 songs in just under two hours.
While seasoned theatergoers will certainly recognize much of the music in the show -- which has been created by director Christopher Scott and musical director Ken Lundie from a concept by Nancy Friday -- they will likely be disappointed that they never get to hear a complete song and are instead treated to just enough of a tune to invoke a warm feeling or fond memory.
