WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright Jane Martin's Flags uses the structure of a Greek tragedy to explore how the grief of a single American family must inevitably ripple through us all. During it's sold-out, critically acclaimed Los Angeles run, the Hollywood Reporter called Flags "a chilling account of one family's loss in the Iraq war...a first-rate portrayal of an American tragedy...no debate here and no lectures." Variety said it was "...an expertly crafted work that performs a keen dissection and analysis" with an "outstanding ensemble."

Their excitement, however, is curtailed when their neighbor Benny (Stephen Mendillo) arrives, telling them of a report he's just heard on the news: Carter's unit will be sta[...]
