Lost City Productions presents, First Date, Stephen Tesher's new comedy about life and love. Set in Brooklyn, 1952, Murray and Sheila are on their first date but they can't escape the traditional voices of their parents. What begins as a sweet "getting to know each other" evening accelerates into marriage, children, cancers, careers, and divorce all laced together at a ferocious pace. Spanning almost twenty years, this production explores the evolution of marriage and gender roles while pitting a woman's struggle for growth against traditional values.
