WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Mefisto Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Avery Crozier's comedy, Eat the Runt. This genderless comedy concerns a surreal interview which leads to the hiring of a grants manager at an art museum. All eight actors in the production have learned all the roles, and at the beginning of each performance audience members will choose which actor plays which character.

If you want to be sure that the entertainment you choose to see on a Friday evening will be the same one you saw three weeks earlier on a Tuesday, go to the movies. Live theater is supposed to change from night to night, even if some shows try to recreate the same exact experience at every performance; the Les Misérables that's on Broadway right now is probably not so different from the one that opened 10 years ago, but other shows do vary from night to night in subtle ways, and more significantly when there are changes in the cast. Which brings us to Eat the Runt at Altered Stages, a show in which the cast changes constantly.
