WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Enduring deception, manipulation and the horrors of war, Imogen, daughter of Cymbeline, flees an arranged marriage in search of her banished love. Determination, fidelity and belief in the human spirit lead to wonderous redemption in Shakespeare's most extraordinary of romances. Bartlett Sher directs William Shakespeare's Cymbeline as the opening production of Theatre For a New Audience's 23rd season.
There is an additional Sunday evening performance at 7:00PM on March 3.

Bartlett Sher, who distinguished himself directing Theatre for a New Audience's first-rate
production of Waste two years ago, has done it again with great brio. He combines logic and invention so skillfully in his new production of William Shakespeare's Cymbeline that he's even figured out a way to make the play's tricky exposition crystal clear.
