WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A poor student commits a brutal murder in order to prove a theory. Relentlessly pursued by a wily policeman, he seeks refuge with his only confidant who is a young woman forced into prostitution by desperate circumstances. Slowly, his theory begins to crumble and he must choose whether or not to face the horror of his crime.
