WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

D.M.W. Greer's Burning Blue receives its New York premiere this fall following its run in London?s West End where it received two Laurence Olivier Awards. After directing the critically acclaimed West End production, John Hickok returns to direct the New York
production. The play chronicles the aftermath of a fatal accident involving three F-18 jets. Following the accident, a Naval Criminal Investigative Service Agent receives an anonymous call implicating Lt. Daniel Lynch IV, the
Pacific Fleet?s top-ranking fighter pilot, in a "criminal" act. Lt. Lynch, along with three of his squadron mates and their spouses become the subject of a modern-day witch hunt. The drama unfolds against the backdrop of the most divisive issue confronting the military today: the controversial "Don?t Ask/Don?t Tell" policy.

The Sunday, October 13 performance begins at 7pm.
