WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Rare video clips, and true behind-the-scenes stories that only four-time Emmy Award winner Bill Boggs can tell.
Over the years, Bill Boggs has talked to everyone and everyone has talked to him. Now, for the first time he reveals the behind-the-scenes stories of the celebrities he's interviewed, gotten drunk with, dated, danced with, been propositioned by, and has otherwise known and loved. Bill has humorous and poignant anecdotes regarding celebrities like Frank Sinatra, John Belushi, Arnold Schwartznegger, Matt Lauer, Martha Stewart, Fergie, Hugh Hefner, Christopher Reeve, Whoopi Goldberg, Miles Davis, Morton Downey Jr., and many, many more!
The production is packed with videos, vintage photos, backstage revelations and tales of the funniest and most embarrassing things that have happened on and off the air. It also features two musicians, a montage of celebrity photos with music and two original songs. Jeffrey B. Moss directs.
"Bill Boggs Talk Show Confidential is filled with humor and warmth, and something extra -- a nourishing element of wisdom and insight that raises the reminiscences above the usual celebrity show fare. Don't miss it." -- The New York Post
"Pee in the pants funny....Boggs has great stories." -- The Resident
"...dazzling expose of backstage goings on." -- Italian Tribune

Actor, writer, newscaster, producer, singer... Bill Boggs has just about done it all. But he's undoubtedly best known as a television talk show host on programs ranging from Midday Live to Saturday Morning Live to Corner Table on the Food Network. He has conducted somewhere between eight and nine thousand interviews with celebrities of every stripe and has plenty of stories to tell about them. The venue in which he's chosen to do so is Talk Show Confidential, a piece of live entertainment that has popped up here and there around town before reaching the Triad Theatre, where it has just settled down for an open-ended run.
