WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

In Assisted Loving, New York Times Sunday Styles columnist Bob Morris examines what it's like to be single in New York and have your 80-year-old father drag you into his hellbent hunt for new love. "Age of Dissonance" columnist Morris lived through his old man's year of dating dangerously and learned more about love than he ever expected. Assisted Loving is a tawdry, tuneful, tender tale of cell-phone abuse, casserole widows, Viagra, hip-replacement surgery, and father-son reconciliation. Assisted Loving is the first installment of MCC's "Theater for Thought" program -- a special reading series of new works presented in conjunction with the company's 20th Anniversary celebration. More events in the series will be announced during the season. Performs September 26, October 2, 10, 16, and 17 at 8pm.
