This piece, written in the 18th century by Carlo Goldoni, is the commedia dell'arte work that created a superior form of Italian character comedy. Italian actor and director Ferruccio Soleri, the great Arlecchino of our time, plays the wily servant Arlecchino, a role he has acted more that two thousand times in over forty countries.
