Based on the Frog and Toad children's stories written and illustrated by Arnold Lobel, A Year with Frog and Toad follows the woodland adventures of two amphibious friends, as worrywart toad and a perky frog, with their assorted colorful hopping, crawling and flying companions, over the course of a year. Waking from hibernation, they plant gardens, meet new friends, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and, as the time for hibernation again approaches, learn about friendship and the different things that make each of individual unique.
