Dan Lauria stars in the Off Broadway premiere of William Mastrosimone's A Stone Carver. Conflicts surrounding eminent domain and urban redevelopment explode in this arresting family drama, directed by Tony Award winner Robert Kalfin. When a town wants to build a new highway off- ramp and issues eminent domain orders to clear the needed land, one elderly stone carver refuses to leave the home he built with his own hands. His son, a rising politician, tries to convince him to move - and move on.
