With eight singers and three musicians, A Pure Gospel America brings the gospel style and spirit to 75 minutes of the great songs of the American experience, ranging from "This Land is Your Land" to "Home On The Range", from "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again" to "God Bless America" A Pure Gospel America follows in the footsteps of the other "Pure Gospel" shows about which Lawrence Van Gelder of the New York Times raved "a toe-tapping, hand clapping good time!"
