WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Brooke Berman's A Perfect Couple is about three best friends and their young next door neighbor. Over a long summer weekend in the country, secrets are revealed and bonds are tested, forcing these friends to discover who they are now, versus who they thought they would become. Maria Mileaf directs.

Most of what happens in Brooke Berman's charmingly bittersweet new play A Perfect Couple, now at the DR2, will be familiar to anyone who's ever been single and visited with old friends who are happily partnered, but that doesn't make the play any less delightful or thoughtful.
Isaac (James Waterston) and Amy (Dana Eskelson) have been partnered, albeit on and off, for 15 years and are about to finally tie the knot.
