The Friends Always Creating Theatre presentation is perfect for children and adults alike;adapted from L.Frank Baums novel, "The Sea Fairies" penned the year following "The Wizard of Oz". Set on a School Auditorium stage, the students of Mr. Cutler gather to give their book reports on their favorite character from the Baum novel. Leave it to the students to make these reports more Magical, more Alive... they decide to turn the simple reports into a MUSICAL like on the ever-popular TV series, "GLEE"!!! Join Us, as Trot and her Grandfather take an undersea adventure with the Mermaids! Reluctant at first, because they have always heard "no one ever saw a Mermaid and lived to tell the tale!" Experience the Mermaid Magic - Meet in person the hilarious King Anko, the villanious Zog, his slightly zany assistant Sacho, an underwater Goldsmith who saves the day with her street-wise, rap-style delivery, three Mermaid Princesses (the Optimist, the Pessimist & the Botanist) and the beautiful Queen Aquarine. Directed & staged by Mr. Dyville, Assitant Director Vicki Oceguera, Musical Direction by Heather Edwards, Sets/Props by Rodrigo Bolanos. Lots of audience participation for the kids!
