The New Group has announced a one-week extension for the New York premiere production of David Rabe's Good for Otto. Previews begin February 20, in advance of an official opening night on March 8. Originally set to play a limited off-Broadway engagement through April 1, this production now plays through April 8 at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

Directed by Scott Elliott, Good for Otto features F. Murray Abraham, Kate Buddeke, Laura Esterman, Nancy Giles, Lily Gladstone, Ed Harris, Charlotte Hope, Mark Linn-Baker, Amy Madigan, Rileigh McDonald, Kenny Mellman, Maulik Pancholy, Rhea Perlman, and Michael Rabe.

The creative team includes Derek McLane (scenic design), Jeff Mahshie (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), and Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen (sound design).

Set in a Connecticut mental health center, the work follows patients, families, and doctors as they teeter on the brink of breakdown and survival. Good for Otto premiered at the Gift Theatre in Chicago, directed by Michael Patrick Thornton.
