The Lobbyists to Perform Songs From SeaWife at Rockwood Music Hall

Drama Desk Award nominees the Lobbyists, an indie-folk rock sextet, have announced a one-night concert of music from their show SeaWife, on May 31 at Rockwood Music Hall. Described as a folk concert play, SeaWife is developed by Liz Carlson and cocreated by Seth Moore and the Lobbyists, with a book by Seth Moore. It played last year at South Street Seaport Museum's Melville Gallery.
SeaWife follows Percy, a young sailor living during the golden age of the American whaling industry, as he journeys through port cities and on sea vessels. A production of Naked Angels, the show was directed by Liz Carlson during its South Street Seaport run.
The play features an original score of folk instrumentation, performed by actor-musicians Tommy Crawford, Eloïse Eonnet, Alex Grubbs, Will Turner, Tony Vo, and Douglas Waterbury-Tieman (the Lobbyists) with Raymond Sicam III.
