The new stage production of Dan Gordon's Terms of Endearment celebrated its opening night at 59E59 Theaters on November 16. The production, running through December 11, is directed by Michael Parva.

Based on the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Larry McMurtry and the Oscar-winning screenplay by James L. Brooks, Gordon's adaptation of Terms of Endearment traces the relationship between a highly opinionated mother and her feisty daughter as they seek to find humor and courage in the face of life's challenges.

Molly Ringwald and Hannah Dunne head the cast as Aurora and Emma Greenway. They are joined by Jeb Brown as Garrett, Denver Milord as Flap, John C. Vennema as Doctor Maise, and Jessica DiGiovanni as Patsy, Doris, and Nurse. The design team includes David L. Arsenault (set design), Michael McDonald (costume design), Graham Kindred (lighting design), Quentin Chiappetta (sound design), and Amanda Miller (wig design).
