Hamilton parody musical Spamilton celebrated its 300th off-Broadway performance on May 20 at the Triad. In a postshow reception, producers Christine Pedi and David Zippel surprised the company with cake to celebrate.

As previously announced, Spamilton will take up residence at the 47th Street Theatre/the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater beginning June 2, where the show will have an open run.

Spamilton (now running at Chicago's Royal George Theatre) will also make its West Coast debut at Center Theatre Group/Kirk Douglas Theatre. The Los Angeles mounting will run November 5-December 31, with an official opening set for November 12. That production will launch a national tour with additional cities and dates to be announced.

Spamilton is written and directed by Gerard Alessandrini. In addition, the creative team includes Gerry McIntyre (choreography), Dustin Cross (costume design), Richard Danley and Fred Barton (musical arrangements), and Michael Cassara (casting director).
