Manhattan Theatre Club is now presenting Prodigal Son, a new play written and directed by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner John Patrick Shanley, at New York City Center – Stage I. The production will open on February 9. Take a first look at Tony Award winner Robert Sean Leonard and the rest of the cast in the gallery below.

Prodigal Son follows a gifted yet violent 17-year-old boy from the Bronx who suddenly finds himself in a private school in New Hampshire. Two faculty members subsequently struggle to decide whether the boy is a star or a disaster.

In addition to Leonard, the cast features Chris McGarry (Doubt), Timothée Chalamet (Homeland), Annika Boras (Chair), and David Potters.
