Red Bull Theater Announces Casting for Revelation Readings Series

The readings will take place at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Red Bull Theater has announced casting for its upcoming Revelation Readings series at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Featuring Michael Stuhlbarg, Patrick Page, Stephen Spinella, David Pittu, Robert Stanton, Lucas Caleb Rooney, Zach Appelman, Helen Cespedes, and Nathan Winkelstein, a reading of Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus will take place December 11 with direction by Daniel Sullivan.

Victor Hugo's Hernani, on January 15, will feature Ismenia Mendes, Luis Moreno, Tony Plana, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Anthony Martinez, and Pedro Pascal. Ethan McSweeny directs.

Don Juan by Molière, adapted and directed by Stephen Wadsworth, will take place on February 12, and will feature Mary Bacon, Stephen DeRosa, Francesca Faridany, Adam Greer, Mary Lou Rosato, Adam Stein, and Mary Testa.

The Alchemist by Ben Jonson, directed by Jesse Berger on March 19, will feature Christian Conn, Whitney Maris Brown, Ryan Garbayo, Jason Kravits, Steven Rattazzi, Robert Sella, Jeanine Serralles, David Ryan Smith, Derek Smith, and John Douglas Thompson.

The Second Maiden’s Tragedy by Thomas Middleton, directed by Craig Baldwin, will star Susan Heyward, Dion Johnstone, Bhavesh Patel, and Miriam Silverman. It will take place April 16.

A Doctor in Spite of Himself by Molière, adapted by Christopher Bayes and Steven Epp, directed by Christopher Bayes, featuring live music by Pornchanok Kanchanabanca, will star Liam Craig, Austin Durant, Steven Epp, Renata Friedman, Gabriel Levey, Don Darryl Rivera, Justine Williams, and Liz Wisan. The reading is set for May 14.

And finally, on June 18, The Clandestine Marriage by David Garrick and George Colman the Elder, directed by Marc Vietor, will feature Mark Linn-Baker, Talene Monahon, Reg Rogers, and Ryan Spahn.
