Norm Lewis and Carolee Carmello Sing "A Little Priest"

The ”Sweeney Todd” stars head to ”Today” for a special performance.

Norm Lewis and Carolee Carmello appeared on this morning's Today to preview their performances in Tooting Arts Club's Sweeney Todd at the Barrow Street Theatre. The pair, who star as Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett, sang "A Little Priest" and were interviewed by host Kathie Lee Gifford. Check it out below:

Lewis and Carmello succeed Jeremy Secomb and Siobhán McCarthy as Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett. They are joined by fellow new cast members Stacie Bono (Pirelli and Beggar Woman), Jamie Jackson (Judge Turpin) and John-Michael Lyles (Tobias), alongside Matt Doyle (Anthony), Alex Finke (Johanna), Brad Oscar (the Beadle), Colin Anderson, David Michael Garry, Liz Pearce, and Monet Sabel.

The production comes to Manhattan following sold-out runs in London, where the show debuted in Harringtons Pie and Mash Shop, the oldest continuously operating pie shop in Britain. Directed by Bill Buckhurst, the working pie-shop environment is recreated at the Barrow Street Theatre. The revival opened March 1.
