Thanks to critical acclaim and popular demand, Playwrights Horizons announced that Miles for Mary will extend for two more weeks. Originally set to close on Sunday, February 4, this return engagement of the new play by the Mad Ones will now play through Sunday, February 18, at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

Miles for Mary premiered at the Bushwick Starr in 2016. It is described as follows: "It's 1988 and the planning committee for Garrison High School's ninth annual Miles For Mary Telethon is fired up and ready to go. Across subcommittee sessions in the Phys Ed teachers' lounge, The Mad Ones assemble an analog elegy to the camcorder 1980s, Girls Track and Field, and the consecrated American High School."

The entire company of the Bushwick Starr run, made up of Marc Bovino, Joe Curnutte, Michael Dalto, Stephanie Wright Thompson, Amy Staats, and Stacey Yen, return for the off-Broadway engagement. Under the direction of Lila Neugebauer, the production features set design by Amy Rubin, costume design by Ásta Hostetter, lighting design by Mike Inwood, and sound design by Stowe Nelson.
