Mike Lew's Teenage Dick will receive its world premiere at the Public Theater, June 12-July 15. The production, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, is presented by Ma-Yi Theater Company in association with the Public.

The company features Gregg Mozgala (Cost of Living), Shannon DeVido (The Healing), Nick Dillenburg (Orange Is the New Black), Sasha Diamond (Significant Other), and Marinda Anderson (Bella: An American Tall Tale). The creative team includes Wilson Chin (set design), Junghyun Georgia Lee (costume design), Miriam Crowe (lighting design), Fabian Obispo (sound design), movement coordination (Robert Westley), Jennifer Weber (choerographer), and Alyssa K. Howard (production stage manager).

Teenage Dick is a contemporary take on Richard III, reimagining the most famous disabled character of all time as a 16-year-old outsider in the deepest winter of his discontent: his junior year at Roseland High. The play was commissioned and developed by the Apothetae, a company dedicated to plays that explore and illuminate the "Disabled Experience."
