NINE Theatricals, in association with de/RO Productions, has announced that its new interpretation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet will run at 13th Street Repertory from April 6-17, 2016. Joe Rosario directs.

Matt de Rogatis stars as Hamlet the Dane, a man urged by the spirit of his dead father, the King of Denmark, to avenge his murder. Featuring a cinematic approach to the Shakespearean classic, Rosario's production will introduce two new characters in a unique take on the play.

De Rogatis was most recently seen at the Bridge Theater as John Merrick (the "Elephant Man") and as Charlie Gordon in a double bill titled An Evening of One Acts, which included the plays The Exhibition and Flowers for Algernon. Rosario also directed the production.
