The Actors Company Theatre has announced plans for its upcoming world premiere of Jeff Talbott's The Gravedigger's Lullaby, set to run February 28-April 1 at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. Jenn Thompson directs the production, which will have an opening night on March 12.

The cast for The Gravedigger’s Lullaby includes TACT company members Jeremy Beck (She Stoops to Conquer), Ted Koch (Death of a Salesman), Todd Lawson (Summer and Smoke), and guest artist K.K. Moggie (The Good Wife). The play, which arrives on the mainstage by way of the company’s 2015 newTACTics New Play Festival where it was workshopped and developed, tells the seemingly simple story of Baylen, an honest hardworking gravedigger fighting to feed his family in a world that threatens to bury him.

The design team will include Wilson Chin (scenic), Matthew Richards (lighting), Tracy Christensen (costume), Toby Algya (sound), Will Van Dyke (original music), and Andrew Diaz (props).
