A one-week extension has been announced for The Wildness: Sky-Pony’s Rock Fairy Tale, a new rock-theater event from the Brooklyn-based indie-pop band Sky-Pony. Directed by Tony nominee Sam Buntrock (Sunday in the Park With George), the production is presented at Ars Nova in collaboration with the Play Company. Originally set to close on March 19, The Wildness will now run through March 26.

Described as a "rock fairytale," the work features songs by Kyle Jarrow (The SpongeBob Musical) and text by Jarrow and Tony nominee Lauren Worsham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder). The pair also head the company, which features David Blasher, Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Jeffrey Fernandes, Katie Lee Hill, Jamie Mohamdein, Sharone Sayegh, and Kevin Wunderlich.

The production team includes Chase Brock (choreography), Kris Stone (scenic design), Tilly Grimes (costume design), Brian Tovar (lighting design), Tim O'Heir (sound design), Alex Basco Koch (projection design), Sarah Morgan (props design), and Wiley DeWeese (musical direction).
