Taylor Mac's Hir, Starring Kristine Nielsen and Tom Phelan, Opens at Playwrights Horizons

The new drama also features Cameron Scoggins and Daniel Oreskes.

The Playwrights Horizons production of Taylor Mac's Hir celebrated its opening night at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater on November 8 with a festive party at the West Bank Cafe. Directed by Niegel Smith, the play runs through November 29.

Hir is described as a "subversive comedy" that follows Isaac, who has returned from the wars to help take care of his ailing father, only to discover a household in revolt. The cast is made up of Tony nominee Kristine Nielsen (You Can’t Take It With You), Daniel Oreskes (The Revisionist), Tom Phelan (The Fosters), and Cameron Scoggins (Pocatello).
