Labyrinth Theater Company's Empanada Loca, starring Tony nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega (A Streetcar Named Desire), is adding a free Halloween performance at 10pm on October 31. The currently running production will play through November 8 at the Bank Street Theatre.

All tickets will be distributed via an online lottery system at labtheater.org. The lottery will open on October 26 at noon and will close on October 30 at noon. Winners will be contacted by 2pm on the 30th.

Written and directed by Aaron Mark, Empanada Loca tells the story of Dolores, a drug dealer, ex-con, and masseuse who lives under Manhattan in an abandoned subway tunnel. Inspired by the legend of bloodthirsty Fleet Street barber Sweeney Todd, the work is described as a "thrilling new play about an indomitable woman who knows that in this dog-eat-dog world only one rule matters: eat or be eaten."

Empanada Loca is the second in a trilogy of solo plays written by Mark, the first being Another Medea, which featured Tony nominee Tom Hewitt. The creative team includes David Meyer (sets), Bradley King (lights), and Ryan Rumery (sound).
