Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Daniel Sullivan will direct former Roundabout Underground playwright Steven Levenson's If I Forget. The world premiere production will begin preview performances February 2 and open officially on February 22 at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. The limited engagement is set to play through April 30.

In If I Forget three adult siblings and their families gather to celebrate the 75th birthday of their father, Lou. Middle son Michael, a Jewish studies professor, is about to publish a manuscript that argues an incendiary point about American Jews, Israel, and the Holocaust. But Lou, a Jewish World War II veteran, hasn't said a word about it.

Casting and creative team will be announced soon.

Levenson is also the author of The Language of Trees, The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin, and the book for Broadway's upcoming Dear Evan Hansen.
