Company XIV to Present Erotic New Versions of Cinderella and Snow White

The organization will also revive its acclaimed ”Nutcracker Rouge”.

Company XIV will present the world premieres of sexy new versions of Cinderella and Snow White this season at the Minetta Lane Theatre. The productions are conceived, directed, and choreographed by Drama Desk Award nominee Austin McCormick.

The company describes its work as follows: "Sip a libation whilst you experience a thrilling fusion of nightlife and theatre, featuring XIV’s unique blend of live opera, circus, burlesque, vaudeville, baroque dance and sumptuous design."

The cast for Cinderella includes Hilly Bodin, Katrina Cunningham, Lea Helle, Jakob Karr, Nicholas Katen, Malik Kitchen, Mark Osmundsen, Davon Rainey, Marcy Richardson, Steven Trumon Gray, Allison Ulrich, and Brett Umlauf. The production runs from September 22-November 15.

Following that will be a return engagement of the company's Nutcracker Rouge, running from November 24-January 17, 2016. Their erotic new version of Snow White runs from January 26-March 12. Casting and additional information about these productions will be announced at a later date.

The creative team for Cinderella includes Zane Pihlstrom (costume and set design), Jeanette Yew (lighting design), Austin McCormick (sound design), and Sarah Cimino (makeup design). The production team includes Nataliya Vasilyeva (production stage manager), Michael DiFonzo (general manager), Mitchell Strong (company manager), Audrey Nauman (wardrobe supervisor), and John Starmer (technical director).
