Classic Stage Company Extends Iphigenia in Aulis

The Euripides tragedy is presented as part of CSC’s Greek Festival.

The Classic Stage Company production of Iphigenia In Aulis, produced as part of the company's Greek Festival, has extended performances through October 4.

Directed by Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812), the transadaptation of Euripides’ final play is written by Anne Washburn (Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play). The production features original musical by the Bengsons and choreography by Sonya Tayeh.

The cast of Iphigenia in Aulis includes Colette Alexander, Abigail Nessen Bengson, Shaun Bengson, Ato Blankson-Wood, Rob Campbell, Amber Gray, Audrey Elaine Hailes, Geneva Harrison, Mark Jaynes, Nike Kadri, Austin Ku, Jo Lampert, and Kristen Sieh.

The creative team features scenic design by Arnulfo Maldonado, costume design by Normandy Sherwood, lighting design by Austin Smith, and sound design by Stowe Nelson.
