Kate Loprest and More Set for New Play The Big Broadcast on East 53rd

Playlinda Productions will present the world premiere of Dick Brukenfeld's new play The Big Broadcast on East 53rd beginning February 3 at the TBG Theatre. Opening night is set for February 9.
The play is described as follows: "The off-the-wall comedy explores how fake news impacts a marriage. Fed up with her husband's unconventional ways, a sophisticated New Yorker find his obituary in the Times and plans his funeral. This challenges our hero to prove he is alive and kicking."
Directed by Charles Maryan, the production will star John Patrick Hayden, Kate Loprest, Alexis Bronkovic, JoAnna Rhinehart, Bill Tatum, and Chris Thorn. Featured on the creative team are Charles Gross (musical supervision), Atkin Pace (scenic design), Jamie Roderick (lighting design), and Maria Ozmen (costume design).
