Brandon Victor Dixon to Join Patti LuPone, Kelli O'Hara at Playwrights Horizons Gala

Playwrights Horizons will honor Grey Gardens and War Paint scribes Scott Frankel, Michael Korie, and Doug Wright at its annual gala, A Celebration of Song, on May 8 at 583 Park Avenue.

Joining the previously announced lineup of two-time Tony winners Christine Ebersole and Patti LuPone, who star in War Paint , and Kelli O'Hara, who led the cast of Frankel and Korie's musical Far From Heaven, are Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton), the Debate Society, and Sarah DeLappe.

The evening will also recognize Far From Heaven book writer Richard Greenberg and director Michael Greif, who has helmed all three musicals.

Serving as gala cochairs are Dana M. Seshens, War Paint producer David Stone, and Aleksandra Szczepanowska. Cocktails and a silent auction will begin at 6pm, followed at 7:30pm by dinner and the evening’s entertainment.
