Atlantic Theater Company's children's theater wing Atlantic for Kids will present This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing, a play written by Finegan Kruckemeyer, with original music by Nate Weida, and running February 10-March 4 at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater.

This Girl Laughs, according to a press release, "follows three young sisters who are left in a forest by their woodcutter father and forced to find their own way in the world. From this fairytale beginning, three resolutions are made — one sister walks one way to find purpose, one the other to find adventure, and the third stays right where she is to create a home. Years later, having circumnavigated the globe, fought Vikings, crossed oceans, tamed wilds, and achieved greatness, the three sisters meet again as women."

Directed by Alison Beatty and Tom Costello, the cast will include Lauren Annunziata, Brendan Dalton, Anthony Holiday, Sarah Kowalski, Melissa Mahoney, Cerridwyn McCaffrey, Adam Roebling, and Nate Weida. The creative team will include Weida as musical director, Edward T. Morris as scenic designer, Katja Andreiev as costume designer, Elizabeth Mak as lighting designer, Caitlyn Murphy as props designer, and Emily Roth as production stage manager.
