Midnight Theatricals announced that the world premiere run of S. Asher Gelman's Afterglow will extend its run in the Loft at the Davenport Theatre. Originally set to close on July 30, it will now close on August 19. Gelman directs.

Afterglow is described as "a raw, two-act play exploring the emotional, intellectual, and physical connections between three men and the broader implications within their relationships. Josh and Alex, a married couple in an open relationship, invite Darius to share their bed one night. When a new intimate connection begins to form, all three men must come to terms with their individual definitions of love, loyalty, and trust as futures are questioned, relationships are shaken, and commitments are challenged."

The cast features Brandon Haagenson (Beauty and the Beast), Patrick Reilly (Dating My Mother), and Robbie Simpson (The Path). The creative team includes Ann Beyersdorfer (scenic design), Fabian Aguilar (costume design), Jamie Roderick (lighting design), and Alex Dietz-Kest (sound design).
