59E59 Announces 2017 Brits Off Broadway Lineup

The best of British theater will come to New York City.

59E59 Theaters has announced the schedule for its upcoming Brits Off Broadway festival.

The lineup is as follows:

A Gambler's Guide to Dying, written and performed by Gary McNair, directed by Gareth Nicolls, runs April 4-23.

Angel & Echoes, written and directed by Henry Naylor, will star Avital Lvova, Serena Manteghi, and Rachel Smyth (April 11-May 7).

J.B. Priestley's The Roundabout will be directed by Hugh Ross, with Steven Blakeley, Lisa Bowerman, Richenda Carey, Charlie Field, Derek Hutchinson, Annie Jackson, Ed Pinker, Brian Protheroe, Hugh Sachs, and Carol Starks in the company (April 20-May 28).

Adam Farrell, Luke Murphy, and Helen Vinten will appear in Fossils, created by Bucket Club and directed by Nel Crouch (April 25-May 14).

Gary Owen's Iphigenia in Splott, written by Gary Owen and starring Sophie Melville, will run May 9-June 4 under the direction of Rachel O'Riordan.

Anna Martine Freeman, Alice McCarthy, Ellie Morris, and Ed Eales-White will appear in Joe Brittain's Rotterdam, directed by Donnacadh O'Briain (May 17-June 10).

Elizabeth Boag, Emily Bowker, Graeme Brookes, and Alastair Whatley will star in Torben Betts' Invincible, directed by Stephen Darcy, with original direction by Christopher Harper (June 1-July 2).

Declan Conlon and Thusitha Jayasundera take on My Eyes Went Dark, written and directed by Matthew Wilkinson (June 7-July 2).

The festival will conclude with Underground, written by Isla van Tricht, directed by Kate Tiernan, and starring Michael Jinks and Bebe Sanders (June 13-July 2).
