The 2005 Nightlife Awards, an evening dedicated to celebrating the best of New York's cabaret, comedy, and jazz, will be held at The Town Hall on Monday, January 31, 2005, beginning at 7pm.

Produced by TheaterMania's Scott Siegel, the Nightlife Awards feature no acceptance speeches. Instead, the event offers performances by the award winners, chosen by a distinguished panel of more than 20 critics who cover the NYC nightlife scene. In addition, Bruce Vilanch, Sutton Foster, Ute Lemper, Euan Morton, Maureen McGovern, Karen Akers, Allan Harris, Julie Halston, Jim Caruso, and Kate Clinton are among the stars scheduled to perform in honor of this year's award winners.
