The New Group's world premiere of Kenneth Lonergan's play The Starry Messenger, at Theatre Row has extended one week, with the production to now close on Saturday, December 19.

The show stars Matthew Broderick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, J Smith Cameron, Stephanie Cannon, Kieran Culkin, Jonathan Hadary, Grant Shaud, and Missy Yager. It features set design by Derek McLane, costume design by Mattie Ullrich, lighting design by Jason Lyons, and sound design by Shane Rettig.

The play concerns Mark (played by Broderick), a 40-something married man who works at the Hayden Planetarium and whose life turns upside-down when he meets a pretty young single mother (Moreno).
