Girls Night Takes Off-Broadway Hiatus November 22, Returns January 7

The musical, written by Louise Roche and directed by Jack Randle, opened on July 26. It centers on a group of women who get together for a pre-engagement party for the daughter of one of their friends. As they celebrate, they perform such pop anthems as "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," "I Will Survive," "We Are Family," and "Lady Marmalade."
Girl's Night: The Musical debuted in the U.K. in 2003. It opened in the U.S. in 2007 and has toured ever since. In addition to its New York incarnation, the show is playing a limited run engagement in Boston at the Club Café through November 22 as well.
