Marvelous Wonderettes to Celebrate CD Release on November 11

The CD of the Off-Broadway showThe Marvelous Wonderettes, now in an open-ended run at Off-Broadway's Westside Theatre, will be released by PS Classics on November 11, and all ticketholders to that evening's performance will receive a free copy and be invited to a post-show celebration.

The show stars Farah Alvin (Missy), Beth Malone (Betty Jean), Bets Malone (Suzy), and Victoria Matlock (Cindy Lou) as four high school girls who perform at their school's 1958 prom (and then at their 10-year reunion). The show's many songs include "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Stupid Cupid," "Lipstick on Your Collar," "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me," "It's My Party" and "It's In His Kiss (The Shoop Shoop Song)."

The production includes set design by Michael Carnahan, costume and wig design by Bobby Pearce, lighting design by Jeremy Pivnick, sound design by Cricket S. Myers, musical direction by Brian William Baker, and choreography by Janet Miller.
