Full casting has been announced for Women's Project and SITI Company's co-production of Virginia Woolf's Freshwater, to play the Women's Project, January 15-February 15, with an opening set for January 25. Anne Bogart will direct.
This 1923 work, revised in 1935, is the only play written by Woolf, and has never been produced professionally in the United States. It creates a deliberately witty and wacky universe peopled with a tribe of artists, friends and lovers in a playful mood.
In addition to the previously announced Akiko Aizawa, Ellen Lauren, Kelly Maurer, Barney O'Hanlon, and Stephen Duff Webber, the comedy will also feature Gian Murray Gianino and Tom Nelis.
The creative team will include James Schuette (sets & costumes), Brian Scott (lights), and Darron L. West (sound).
