Zoe Caldwell to Star in Site-Specific Elective Affinities

Four-time Tony Award-winner Zoe Caldwell will star in David Adjmi’s Elective Affinities, to be presented by Soho Rep, piece by piece productions and Rising Phoenix Repertory at an Upper East Side Townhouse, November 17-December 18. Sarah Benson will direct , this site-specific production.

The piece will bring audiences into witty octogenarian Alice Hauptmann’s home for a funny and savage portrait of civilized life. Tea and sandwiches will be served.

The show’s creative team will include scenic designer Louisa Thompson, costume designer Susan Hilferty, lighting designer Mark Barton, and sound designer Matt Tierney.

Caldwell won Tony Awards for her performances in Slapstick Tragedy, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Medea, and Master Class.
