Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, the creators of the new musical, The Glorious Ones, now in previews at Lincoln Center's Mitzi Newhouse Theatre, will speak as part of LCT's Platform Series at 6pm on Tuesday, October 23 in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. They will be joined by Francine Prose, the author of the novel on which the musical is based.

The Glorious Ones is a backstage musical about the lives, loves, ambitions, and art of the performers in a 16th-century commedia dell'arte troupe in Italy of the late Renaissance.

Admission is free and open to all; however, seating in the lobby is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis only, beginning at 5:30 pm. Speakers and schedules are subject to change. Call 212-362-7600 to confirm on the day of the event.
