Carradine, Godart, McNenny to Star in Off-Broadway Mindgame

Kathleen McNenny will join Keith Carradine and Lee Godart in the New York premiere of Anthony Horowitz's Mindgame at the SoHo Playhouse, beginning October 28, with an opening date set for November 9. Ken Russell will direct.

The play, which played the West End in 2000, is a thriller set in a lunatic asylum. A writer of pulp crime novels visits the institution for an interview with a notorious serial killer. But when he arrives, he finds nothing can be trusted, not even his own eyes.

The production will feature scenic design by Beowulf Boritt and lighting design by Jason Lyons.

Carradine received a Tony Award nomination for The Will Rogers Follies. His additional Broadway credits include Hair, Foxfire and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He won an Academy Award for his song "I'm Easy" from the film Nashville, in which he also performed.

Godart's stage credits include Skylight, The Lion in Winter, and Copenhagen; and he appeared on the daytime dramas All My Children, Edge of Night, and Search for Tomorrow. McNenny appeared on Broadway in Coram Boy, The Constant Wife and After the Fall.

Horowitz is best known as a screenwriter and novelist. He created the hugely popular and BAFTA-award winning TV series, Foyle's War and his books for children include the Alex Rider series about a teenage secret agent. Russell, who will be making his New York stage directorial debut, directed the films Tommy, Woman In Love, and The Boyfriend.
